John joined Connecticut Family Orthopedics in the spring of 2008. He received his BS as a Physician Assistant from the George Washington University in 1992 while serving in the US Navy. Prior to that, he was awarded a BS in Health Sciences in Nuclear Undersea Medicine (1990) and an AS in Nuclear Medicine Technology (1988), all from The George Washington University. His tenure in the Navy has given him a broad range of clinical and life experience. In 2001, John, received his Masters of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) with special concentration in Industrial and Occupational Medicine from the University of Nebraska.

John is currently a Certified Physician Assistant, Licensed in the state of Connecticut. Additionally, he is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant's (AAPA).
