Chief of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Western Connecticut Health Network, Dr. Michael Fein is well known to the Bethel and Danbury communities where he has practiced podiatry since 1982. He is a graduate of the Temple College of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, PA. He completed a surgical foot residency at the Broad Street Hospital and Medical Center Philadelphia, PA.
Dr. Fein is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a former President of the Fairfield County Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Fein joined CFO in 1998 when he and Dr. Gray formed the Danbury Foot and Ankle Center. Through the collaboration of podiatry and orthopedic surgery, the Center uniquely offers the Danbury community the most comprehensive range of foot and ankle care covering minor issues to complex cases. Dr. Fein operates at New Milford Hospital, Danbury Hospital and conducts procedures at the Wound Center in Danbury Hospital.
Dr. Fein has held the distinguished title of Podiatrist of the Year, a once in a lifetime achievement. He also has been a Connecticut Top Doc for the past decade.
He resides in Trumbull, CT with his wife and has two grown children and his first grandchild.
